Help your team to develop the core skills for managing creative projects.

What is Creative PM?

During the pandemic many creative organizations have been providing free content, but innovative, sustainable business models during and after the COVID crisis are essential to the sector’s survival.

Behind every successful creative project there’s a great deal of planning and organisation – as well as sheer hard work and determination. Most people aren’t put off by the hard work but developing the right management skills can be painful.

Traditional project management methods are often highly bureaucratic and can stifle, rather than encourage, creativity. They’re also notorious for using jargon and abstract concepts that can be difficult to relate to the real world. That’s why we’ve developed Creative PM; it’s a method for anyone working with fast-moving, creative projects where traditional approaches aren’t appropriate.

How it Works

Your team will learn and practise the principles and techniques they need to manage any creative project. We use a mix of practical exercises, inspiration, case study work and discussion with other students in the group.

Students work through the learning materials – videos, podcasts, quizzes and practical assignments – in their own time, supported by our industry expert tutors and their fellow students in forums and chatrooms.

The focus is on providing your team with simple practical techniques that they can apply to your own projects. So learning is not only practical, easy to follow and fun, but suits different learning styles and levels.
